Tuesday Tip: California Assembly Bill 749

Tip: California Assembly Bill 749
California Assembly Bill 749 was signed into law on September 28, 2008 and requires all Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly (RCFE) to have an emergency plan that includes the ability to be self-reliant for at least 72 hours following any emergency or disaster. The plan must be completed by March 1, 2009 and it will be reviewed by Community Care Licensing during comprehensive visits.
